why I am changing

My precious munchkins

How can I not look at these adorable little ones and not change. Saying that, yesterday was better, today I have back tracked. I would give the excuse that it was laundry day. But alas, I can not have excuses when it comes to my time with them. "When Mater is all done, it is nap time." Then the tv will go off. I promise.

We have read Dr. Susses "The Foot Book" about 5 or 6 times already on top of the 3 or 4 she has read it by herself (I need to get that on video).

I started reading Proverbs. Figured if I was going to change and look for wisdom, that was the best place to start. The line that has jumped out of me has been said a couple of times in different ways, but this is what I want my children to hear from me:

My, son, keep your father's commands and do not forsake your mother's teaching.
Bind them upon your heart forever; fasten them around your neck.
When you walk, they will guide you;
when you sleep, they will watch over you;
when you awake, they will speak to you.
Proverbs 6:20-22
