Andrew at 6 months

Andrew turned 6 months last week. He had his well visit the week before. I thought that was strange since with Kathryn the doc's office was very particular about making sure that Kathryn was at least the age she was coming in for. Most of her visits were all on the 30th if not a couple of days later. Andrew's 4 month was a couple of days early and 6 months was a whole week early. Anyway, at 6 months he was 20 lbs 4 oz and 28 & 1/4". The doc didn't give me percentiles, but one website I found said between 75 & 90% for weight and 90 & 95% for height. So not quite as big as we thought, but he is still just about out of his infant seat.

Let's see what is new... We've moved him to stage 2 foods, which he loves. But he just loves food, or at least most of the time he does.

Within the past four or five days he is getting up on all 4s. This should be interesting. Kathryn starting crawling right at 7 months. Let's see if he beats her.

Still no teeth. I'm fine with that. He likes to chomp fingers and arms.

His little bald spot on the back of his head is disappearing. It is still there, but going away.

He is vocalizing. Kind of sounds like "agna".

Some nights he sleeps all night (8:30 to 7ish, other nights he is up at 4ish, some nights 2ish & 5ish). Last night he slept until 6:45. He kinda takes two naps. The morning nap is less than an hour and if I'm lucky, the afternoon nap can be for 2 or 3. Somedays it is three or four 30-min naps. I don't like those days.

I think that is everything for now. I'm probably forgetting something. I'll post later if there is.
