nine months and counting

Kathryn turned nine months yesterday and it is hard for me to believe. I know that Eric also is amazed by how much she grows and learns daily. Our little munchkin is such a little stinker sometime. She has learned to wave, but only when she deems it necessary. She likes to wave to the pictures around the house. (We say hi to Caleb & Esther at least twice a day.) Kathryn loves the pictures we have on the fridge. The funny part is that she doesn't wave to actual people. She has waved to my mom when we webcam, but walking around stores or at church, she just gets shy. It is so funny. Oh... she does wave to the kitties. Go figure.

She is getting faster and bolder in her exploring. I can walk into the kitchen to get a drink and if I don't keep my ear open for her, she'll be in our bathroom before I know it. Doesn't seem that bad, but it is a maze to get back to our bedroom. She's fast.

Kathryn's babbling cracks me up. It is especially fun in the car. She has a giraffe that plays music and hangs from the handle of the car seat. Sometimes I think she gives that giraffe what for. It is so funny. She also will walk about just babbling and then a really loud "aaaahhhh" comes out. I'll have to see if I can get it on camera.

Speaking of cameras... I took her to Sears yesterday for pictures. She would not cooperate. I don't know what the deal was. She usually is a ham for the camera. I was cheap so I don't have the pictures yet and they won't be digital. Once I get them back, I'll try to scan a couple to post. For now, I'll leave you with a few I got this morning.
