I have finally hit the point that I want to eat, well at times that is. I eat the most during the morning hours. I can't really eat a lot when I first get up, unless it is the weekend and I have slept in. I am mainly hungry between about 8:30 and noon. Take this morning for example.
I had a piece of toast with cream cheese & apple butter (not a craving, just habit thanks to Granddaddy) for breakfast at 6:30. On my way to the County office to apply for permits about an hour later I had a granola bar. Leaving the County at 9:30, my stomach was growling so bad I knew I couldn't make it until lunch. So I took the 5 minute detour and stopped at McD's for a sausage McMuffin and a hashbrown. Around 11:00 I had another granola bar because I didn't think I'd make it to lunch. After lunch, I had to hit a job site. I had another granola bar on my way back around 4:00. Now, even though by time I get home I'll be "starving" and I know we are having a nice juicy steak for dinner, I may only eat half of it.
Mornings are my "feeding" time. I can honestly say at this point the only thing that comes close to a craving is chips & salsa. I can't do tacos again yet, but I can eat a handful of chips & salsa at any point. We'll see where it goes from here.
