Here is a little synopsis of what is going on, in no particular order...
Some days Andrew only wants finger foods. But then you have days like today for example where in the past 24 hours he has had 6 tubs of baby food, 5 packs of mum-mums, almost an entire container of little crunchies and who knows how many cups of Cheerios. Eric says he is a bottomless pit.
Kathryn is potty trained!!!! Big thanks to Grandma. I seriously don't think I could have done it. Even now, it can be difficult to keep Andrew from "helping".
Andrew walked the other day only holding on to one of my hands. We are getting there.
Kathryn wants to "help" with just about everything. Even getting me toilet paper. or cooking. or cutting things with my Cricut. or feeding Andrew.
Andrew will eat Mexican rice & beans, but won't touch mac-n-cheese. I don't understand.
Kathryn knows her left & right. Thanks to Mickey Mouse for the most part.
Andrew is a climber. His favorite thing is climbing on top of the subwoofer and pulling the dvds out. He just grins when you tell him "no" and giggles as you pull him away.
Kathryn thinks the dvd player in the van only works when we go to Nana's or Grandma's. She has asked while we were doing errands to go to Nana's so she can watch Cars.
Andrew has figured out light switches.
Kathryn will bring you M&Ms when you go potty.
Andrew claps and nods his head.
Kathryn claps every time the claw saves the toys in Toy Story 3.
I had a pen behind my ear. Kathryn tells me, "Mommy you have a Handy Manny pen."
Andrew has learned the joys of the walker and can almost run around the kitchen in it.
Kathryn now calls me "Mom" and not "Mommy". Not sure when the change happened, but it did.
Last night Kathryn argued with Eric that he was Eric and not Daddy. But she doesn't know my name. I am still Mom.
It is hard to believe that Andrew will be 1 next month and Kathryn is 2-1/2. They are growing up as we watch. Sometimes we miss things.
