A is 9 months!

My little boy is 9 months today!  I cannot believe it!  I type this as he is standing next to the couch trying to get the laptop to push buttons.  So much like his sister.

And this morning he took a few sideways steps holding on to the couch!  I am not even sure when that started.  He's been standing up on things for a while and "stomping", but I don't think I had ever seen him actually move. 

I took him for his well check up earlier in the week.  He's 22 lbs 6 oz (75%) and 30" (95%).  He's big, but not as big as I thought he was.

Let's see what is new...

a tooth!

The next tooth on the bottom is really close to be in also.  From the amount of drool I would say it and the top too can't be too long off.

Last night we gave him mashed potatoes and peas mixed together.  I wish I had the camera out so you could have seen his face.  This was his first table food besides Cheerios.

He hasn't started real syllables yet.  If he's really mad and crying he sometimes gets a "maaaa" sound out, but not always.

I think that is all that is really new.  I would say that by Christmas I will be telling you that he is walking.  Maybe not, but he chases after his sister constantly and he's standing up on everything.  For my sake, I hope not, but I don't think I can really stop him
