If you haven't heard, I have been in the hospital since Thursday afternoon. I am glad to say that I am back home today. Apparently I had a stomach virus that was enhanced from being pregnant. Not being able to keep anything, including water, down for a couple of days was not the greatest experience.
It all started Wednesday night with cramps in my upper stomach area. We figured that they may be the start of the false labor pains, but then the vomiting started about 2:30 in the morning. You can ask Eric about the funs of that episode. I called the night line for the doctors and they called back and said to call the main office in the morning. After calling them in the morning they finally told me around noon to go ahead and get to triage.
I checked in at 1:30 & was admitted to the hospital around 10:30 Thursday night. An IV was inserted, after the first time it didn't work in my left arm. By the time I left, I was working on bag #13 of fluids. I had a liquid diet until Sunday evening. This morning I got yogart and oatmeal. I've kept everything in since Saturday evening so this morning they decided that yes I get to go home!
So now I'm home and supposed to rest and take it easy for the next three or four days and keep my diet bland and mild. Mom flew up here late Saturday night to help out since Eric had to be back to work today. So I'm being taken care of :)

Oh yuck! I bet that was scary. How are you feeling now?
Feeling a lot better now. Still a little tired in the afternoon and watching what I am eating. Nothing too weird... so a lot of bland foods. But a lot better than I felt on Thursday that's for sure!
