Christmas with the Waughs

Our second stop in Georgia was to Eric's parents' house.  Great Grandma & Grandpa Waugh, Aunt Nancy & Uncle Jack, and Aunt Elisha, Uncle Jonathan, Caleb, Esther & Anna were also there.  It was a house full!

Coffee was the theme of gifts this year.  The girls got coffee pots as well as us and Elisha & Jonathan.

Always fun when Uncle Jack is around.

We Ski was a very popular pastime

Fighting over Andrew

We took a trip to an indoor water park.  The kids loved it!

Then we went to Stone Mountain to see the Snow Fairy.  Snow Angel?  Snow flying lady.  It was chilly.  And it was supposed to rain.  Besides the soap bubble "snow".

Great Grandkids

The only family picture we took.

Christmas with the Paynes

First stop in Georgia for Christmas was with Nana & Granddad and Uncle Randy, Aunt Sarah & Chloe.  Here are a few pictures.

Granddad got out his electric car race track.  The kids loved it!  If I could post the video of Lady trying to chase the cars I would.

Dad let me play with his SLR camera lenses.  This was the 8-point star filter.  Pretty cool, huh?

Granddad even played a game of Chutes & Ladders with Kathryn.  Lady wanted to play as well.

 Lady wanted some attention.

 Andrew the elf.

Oh she is a stinker!

The elf has to pass out the presents.  I want to tickle those little toes.

 A new hat :)

Kathryn makes a good weight bar for Uncle Randy.

We tried a few posed pictures.  I still can't believe I got them all to sit still!

My amazingly talented mother made me this for me.  It is a Jesse Tree.  It tells the story of Christmas starting with creation.  I really can't wait to use it this coming Christmas.  Each pocket has an ornament and a card with the corresponding Bible verse.

Christmas - NC

I'll do Christmas in three parts based on location.  As it was all going on I was thinking how crazy it was and how much family we were seeing, and was feeling blessed we were able to be able to travel and see everyone.  Now as I am posting about Christmas, I know that this coming year will be different.  I don't know how much traveling we'll be able to do and who all we'll be able to see.  Anyway, here is a glimpse of our Christmas here in North Carolina.  We did a little of Christmas before we left for Georgia and a little when we got home so this isn't necessarily chronological.

I didn't take very many pictures here, but I made up for it in Georgia :)
